Interesting suggestions. I'll pass them on to the design team. A tunnelling tank is definitely a cool idea and not something we've thought of before!

Hi Tanky02, thanks for the question. Basically we felt the hacker tank was demonstrably better than the other unlockable tanks so players would always choose it if it was available. To bring it into line with the others we replaced its mk3 single lock-on missile with a mk1 and reduced its health modulators from 3 to 2.

Whilst I can't help you directly, one thing that's worth doing is making sure you track down any auxiliary buildings in the levels. Some of these, like the power relay, can reduce the enemy power level, making the enemies weaker. You can find them more easily by hacking radar relays.

Secondaries like EMP and Virus are very good at getting you out of a tight situation.

In co-op games, invest heavily in healing so you can get those clutch revives in.

Shops that are further from the 'main route' to the volcano tend to have better things in them.

Sometimes it's worth retreating from a particularly tough level (the later convoy levels are particularly tricky) rather than burning all your lives trying to beat it. You don't have to complete the hex if there's another way through.

Hi H8CasualGMRz, thanks for the feedback. The fact that you've completed extreme countless times is worth of respect in itself. I doff my cap to you, Sir.

Speaking personally, a customisable campaign is certainly a cool concept and I really like the idea of AI with special weapons. I can't go into any details regarding our future plans right now but I'll certainly pass on your suggestions.

Hi H8CasualGMRz, thank you very much for the feedback, we really appreciate this kind of detailed response.

1) Sensitivity settings for the controls _did_ get tweaked as part of the changes to support variable framerates and the more varied controllers available on PC but we attempted to keep it as similar as possible. The "Turret Sensitivity" setting under Options->Controls should allow you to tune the response of the turret pitch - a lower value should give more fine control. Note that the turret's pitch rate doesn't change, just the response at low control amounts.

2) Good point about the horizon lock. It's there for folks who want the "full experience" in non-VR but the removal of the option to unset it in VR mode is an oversight. We'll attempt to correct it in a future patch.

Headtracking support was definitely not removed from the non-vr version deliberately. In fact, there is already a "free look" axis control specifically for such things, but the "critical bindings" exist to prevent people from being able to lock themselves out of the game by unbinding core keys like the menu accept, etc. We understand it's frustrating and we're considering the options. If we can find a way to support it in the future patch, we will.

Hi LooneyJetman, thanks for the feedback. If you play through the tutorial level, at the point where it asks you to aim up at the target, if pull the stick in the direction you prefer (so down in your case) and it will set the invert option automatically for you. If you skip the tutorial mission each time using the option you've discovered, that section is bypassed

Thank you for your support! I'd love to tell you what we're working on but the marketing department would have my guts for garters - I'm afraid such things are closely guarded secrets until we're ready to show the world. Keep an eye out here or on our social media channels and you'll be first to know!

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, jim1174. It sounds as if your anti-virus has quarantined the executable for some reason. Check the contents of <Oculus Install Directory>\Software\Software\rebellion-battlezone\bin. If it's empty, you may need to disable your anti-virus and re-download the game.

In theory, yes. All of the Windows Mixed Reality headsets should work with the SteamVR version of Battlezone. The Lenovo isn't a device we've tested ourselves but it certainly works with the Acer Windows Mixed Reality headset.

Hi, thanks for the question. I can't give you a definitive answer right now but I've compared notes with the rest of the team and this is what we believe is the case:

There's not enough time for the bomb trucks to change their trajectory much after being virus'd but their explosion won't hurt you and should hurt enemies.

For mine layers, their mines will hurt enemies and not you, but we suspect they often end up being destroyed by their own mines(!) before they can do much.

Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely planning to investigate HOTAS 4 at some point but unfortunately the PC implementation isn't that easy to port, since it relies on Direct Input and has to account for fully-customisable control schemes.

We'll have a look at what would be involved in getting HOTAS 4 support in but I'm afraid I can't make any promises.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll pass them on. The RELOAD message is rather shouty on purpose because early in testing people would sometimes get confused as to why they couldn't fire, but disabling that sort of thing should be possible.

One tactic with the shield generators is to use the Blaster (hold down the weapon change button) to take out the rings. This has infinite ammo and lets you save your main ammo for the bigger baddies.
