Hi Bigtimemaster,   can you give us any more info on that issue?  Were you doing anything else at the same time as reloading?  Does it always happen when you use the ZH rifle?

If you are experiencing issues with your console in general, please try the official support of your console manufacturer:

http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/browse/xbox-one?xr=shellnav

http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/contact-us#0

An important first check:

Please make sure your console system software is completely up-to-date and has been fully restarted.

https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/update-xbox-one-console

Instructions for keeping Xbox system up-to-date

- Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

- Select Settings > All settings.

- Select System > Updates.

- Under Console, select Keep my console up to date if it isn’t already.

Available updates will now be downloaded and installed during off-hours when your console is not in use.

Try a full restart on your system (power cycle your Xbox) – especially if you have trouble booting games:

- Power down your console, then unplug the power cable from the back.

- Wait for a few minutes before plugging back in.

- The light on the power brick should change from white to orange.

- Turn the power on.

http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Check your connection to Xbox Live:

- Press the Guide button on your controller, then select Settings, select System Settings and then Network Settings.

- Select the name of your Wireless Network, or select Wired Network for a wired connection.

- Choose Test Xbox Live Connection

If you might have a corrupt profile (worth checking, to verify the game and the profile):

To rule out corrupted profile data, please try using a different user profile to play the game.

https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/switch-profiles

(You can also delete & re-download your profile)

Checking NAT type for Multiplayer connection issues:

Please check your console's NAT setting in the Network screen.

To get to the Network screen:

- Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

- Select Settings > All Settings.

- Select Network > Network settings.

Please work through the troubleshooting guide here:

As a last resort, you can try deleting and re-installing the game files via data management.

OR

PS4 database rebuild (this works like a defrag or general error check for your data):

1. Power off your console, using either the power button or by removing the power source.

2. To boot the PS4 into Safe mode, Press and Hold down the power button on the front of the PS4, until the console beeps twice (once immediately, then another after a few seconds of holding)

3. Connect your Dual Shock remote via USB cable.

4. Press the PS button on the controller to pair devices.

The console will now be in Safe Mode

5. Go to option "5. Rebuild Database" and press X

6. "The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database" will be displayed, Select OK.

7. The screen will go blank whilst the Database is being rebuilt and this could take a few hours depending on the amount of saved content.

8. When the Rebuild has finished the console will return to the sign in screen.

The rebuild is now complete. None of your installed games or features should be affected, but your database and memory will now be a lot cleaner.

If you are experiencing issues with your console in general, please try the official support of your console manufacturer:

https://support.us.playstation.com

https://www.playstation.com/en-ae/get-help/#/contact-us/

An important first check:

Please check that your PS4 system software is completely up-to-date.

Go to Settings > System Software Update to do this. Then completely restart your console.

Or download the latest software for your Playstation:

https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/system-updates/ps4/

Try a full reset on your PS4:

- From the main menu, select Power

- Select Turn Off PS4

For connection issues, test your connection to PSN:

settings > network > test internet connection

Multiplayer connection issues, check your NAT type:

Please check your NAT type. You can see this by going to Settings > Network > Internet Connection Status.

If you are using a wireless connection , try a wired connection and see if that makes a difference?

Detailed advice for network connection issues:

https://support.us.playstation.com/articles/en_US/KC_Article/Troubleshoot-Wired-or-Wireless-Network-Connection/?

If you have an issue with access to the game or DLC

Restore license for the PSN network. Log into the PSN Account that purchased the content in question, Go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] and select [Restore Licenses]

Purchased DLC not present in game:

From your PS4's home screen go to the Playstation Store. Select 'Redeem Codes' and you should be able to input your code. Select Confirm. A message should confirm that your code has been redeemed.

Next go to Sniper Elite 4 in your Library, go to 'Related Items' and then 'My Add-ons'. Here you should see your DLC and can download them.

Installing DLC packages

- Highlight the game, scroll down into its options.

- Highlight Playstation Store, go right to Add-Ons and press X.

  • Press X on the arrow next to the pack you want to install. You may need to press this twice.

  • Next will be a screen telling you it is already installed with a redirect to [Downloads]. Select this and you should see the DLC being installed.

If you experience any problems or issues that are not discussed specifically on the forum, here are a few steps that solve common issues, and some advice to get the best service from our support team:

By far the most common minor issue for PC users is out of date graphics (video) and audio drivers - please check with your PC or component manufacturer for the latest up to date driver software.

If you are having any issue related to the game not loading or running correctly, it is worth verifying your local game data in Steam:

  • In your Steam library, right click on the name of the game, select "properties", select "local files" tab, click the "verify integrity of game files" button.  This will take a few minutes, and should automatically reacquire any data needed.

If the problem persists, please use the search function on this forum, to see if the issue you are having has been reported and whether any solutions or work-arounds have been offered.

If you still need advice or help with an issue related to Sniper Elite 4 (or any other Rebellion game) please use the support page here:

http://www.rebellion.co.uk/support

It is very important that for best response, you include as much detailed relevant information as you can on the issue.

Examples:

  • Exact version of game
  • Exact description of problem
  • Any error codes observed
  • Whether the problem always occurs in the same way at the same time
  • What steps you have tried to solve the issue
  • Whether the issue has always been present or if it has just occurred (and anything that coincided with that).

Our support staff may have to ask for more information, and may ask you to send a "dxdiag" file:

  • In your windows start menu search bar, type: dxdiag
  • Run the dxdiag utility, this will launch the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, when it has finished, you can save the information to a text file.  Attaching this to your support email reply will provide useful information about the setup of your PC

 Hi Saoud & hitman,

The best way to get detailed support with issues / bugs is to send full detailed information in an email to:

http://www.rebellion.co.uk/support

If possible, please provide as much information about the problem in the email, such as:

(please remember to specify which version of which game you have)

Can you play any other multiplayer games successfully?

Is there anything unusual about your internet / router / ISP?

Do you have a network firewall that might be causing issues?

Does this problem occur 100% of the time, and always at the same moment, or does it vary?

Have you been having any other PS4 issues or any problems with your router & connection?

(it is possible that a full delete and re-install may solve the issue, but you may wish to explore other options before trying that)

Thanks, Jim
