Love the ability to change skins in Campaign. Awesome update! Now that we can do that, I wouldn't mind a bunch more versions of Karl! Sniper Elite 3 Karl, civilian Karl with cargo pants and a black tee shirt. Maybe a black sneaking suit with a ski mask. Shoot, how bout a James Bond-ish tuxedo just for fun. Thanks for the update though!

Okay, not sure why this posted here. I was posting in The Road Ahead forum page, but whatever. Thanks.

I have thought the same thing. Karl is the star of the story, so playing only as him is fine, but to give us a dozen new attires for him would be awesome!

I’m on PC. I would like to experiment before buying these version or even a previous one. If that’s not possible I’m not going to invest 60€ on it. :/

You ought to get ya a console man. Games are a lot cheaper. Especially after they've been out a year or so.

True if you want  to know if it's worth it by a copy of you don't  like it sell / trade it easy as that.

He has a PC. He couldn't sell his copy of the game.

there aren't "thousands of enemy soldiers". More like 75-100. Trust me, I counted.

Whatever. It seems like thousands compared to the previous games. I'm impressed with the number of villains on each map.

I realize its a stealth game, but even now the game will take you out of that stealth at times with gun blazing firefights.

Socom and Metal Gear Solid were 3rd person stealth games, but they both eventually introduced vehicles.

As long as Sniper Elite still focused 90% of its gameplay on stealth, I believe it would work.

Not that I know of. If you're on a console, I would recommend trying Sniper Elite 3. It's not the newest one, but it was good too, and it shouldn't cost you too much. A used copy for consoles should be between 10 and 15 bucks, maybe cheaper. You can get it for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It's on PC, but not sure how much that one costs.

Sniper Elite V2 was for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and I think Nintendo Wii. That one should be even cheaper. It was good, but not as good as 3 and 4 in my opinion. It was darker, and grittier. Maybe not as exciting as the newer games. That's just my opinion though.

I remember when the SOCOM series for the PS2 added vehicles, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Sniper Elite eventually has to add the ability to drive vehicles within the single player Campaign. Spreading some of the objectives a great distance from each other would give good reasons to hijack and hotwire enemy cars, trucks, and even tanks.

There could even be dynamic moments where an NPC character drives a truck, and your character, Karl has to man a mounted turret in the back. During Co-Op, one could man the turret, and the other slouch to his knees with his assault rifle, or player 1 drives the truck while player 2 shoots.

I realize the developers don't want to take the series too far away from being centered around stealth and sniping, but vehicles would really add a new and fun element to the game.

Thanks!

I don't think so but games like this should give out free demos. The only way I discovered the Sniper Elite series was through a free copy of Sniper Elite 2 a couple years ago.

I can tell you that if you're already a fan of the previous games, this one's worth getting. It's everything SE 3 was, but with much larger levels, thousands of enemy soldiers per level, you have unlimited enemy tagging, you can tag objects now allowing you to keep up with generators, enemy mines, or secret passage ways from miles away, and you can climb up walls and run across rooftops like Assassins Creed.

I'm loving the game!
