 Thanks for the feedback.

I should say regarding point #3, you can disable that by going to Main Menu > Options > Game > Aim Assist

On gamepads your shoulder can be switched by holding LT/L1 to bring up the radial menu, and pressing Y/Δ.

From the game's launcher, please select 'Options'. Next to 'Audio Reverb Quality' please select OFF and see if that makes a difference.

The left trigger will be iron-sights or scope depending on how far you pull the trigger. Please make sure he is pressing the trigger right down for the scope.

 Thanks for the info.

This appears to be a known issue with the PSVR that Sony are looking into. It is unclear whether it is a software or hardware problem at the moment.

I'll be looking out for news on this.

 Hi Lekke,

We are looking into this issue.

Are you experiencing this with any other games/demos? Can you try moving closer to your camera and try the Options button again please? Also please double-check your play environment for any lights or shiny/reflective surfaces.

Red = enemy units and enemy objectives to be destroyed or hacked.

White = convertible buildings - get near to these to hack them until they turn blue. Converting buildings rewards you in various ways. For example extra data, weapon unlocks, or revealing enemies on the radar.

Blue = allies, both AI and human (if playing co-op). They have energy bars so you have an idea of how well they're doing. You can heal your human teammates by keeping near to them. Beware friendly fire.

Green = A friendly objective, to be protected.

Hope this helps!

Here are some general tips to help you with using your shiny new PSVR kit - if you find your virtual DS4 is wigging out, or you struggle to keep your view centred, check out the following:

The most important steps

  • Make sure you turned the headset on with the little switch halfway along the cable.
  • Make sure your headphones are plugged in here in order to have 3D audio.
  • There is a button on this switch that allows you to mute/un-mute the built-in microphone.

Camera placement

  • Ideal placement is around 6ft away from the headset; you might need to move a little closer.
  • Avoid bright light sources nearby such as lamps or unrelated electronic equipment with LEDs.
  • Avoid direct light shining onto the headset - e.g. a large TV outputting the game.
  • Avoid reflective surfaces - e.g. mirrors, picture frames, shiny leather sofas.
  • PS button > Adjust PlayStation VR > Confirm your position - this will show a negative image of what the camera sees, allowing you to see any unwanted bright spots (will appear dark).
  • You can hold the Options button at any time to re-centre your view.

Controller tracking

  • Will get progressively worse as the battery drains - keep them charged.
  • The cable can get in the way of the tracking light - it's smoother if you play wirelessly.
  • Other unrelated Bluetooth devices can interfere with wireless controllers.

Display is blurry

  • Closer to eyes = better
  • Keep the lenses clean, you grub!
  • Never use fluid to clean the lenses, use the included cleaning cloth.
  • Your peripheral vision will likely look blurry, that's normal - the viewing angle is restricted to 110 degrees, like IRL peripheral vision.

Direct sunlight into the lenses will very quickly trash the display unmendably

  • So don't do that.
