Thanks! Try the DX11 build for now, it is looking like this is a DX12 only issue.

Also, was it the machine gun impacts? Are there any other sounds you have noticed this with?

Thanks for the replies!

So, if you wanted to quickly turn the tank 180 degrees, what sort of mouse movement would that require?

Thanks!

Interesting, how does it treat the mouse movement? Is it like a virtual thumb-stick where you have to move it back to the middle to stop rotating, or like a classic FPS so you have to keep lifting the mouse to move it more? Or something else?

Interesting, it would be useful if you could let us know some more info.

Which head set are you using?

Are you using the headsets audio device or a different one?

Which version of the game (Oculus, Steam, DX11, DX12)?

Is binaural audio enabled in the settings? Does changing it make a difference?

Thanks!

It would probably be best to open support tickets with battlezone.vive.support@rebellion.co.uk and attach you dxdiag info. Also, are you using the DX11 or DX12 version, or is it happening in both?

That is very odd, what do you have your IPD on the Vive set too? It does sound like you have ended up with an eye separation value larger than your own, I will have a play with the settings on mine and see if I can make it do the same thing.

There is no way to adjust the stereo depth I'm afraid, the game uses the IPD setting from the headset to calculate the correct split. Which headset / version are you playing? Which parts of the cockpit are you struggling with and how close are you getting to them?

This is definatly something that has been discussed a lot. The problem with putting the blaster in the main rotation is that it mostly just gets in the way, it is another weapon to skip past when trying to quickly select the weapon you need. Having to hold square is a pain, but it at least makes the most common use of weapon switching better. On the plus side, it allows you to switch to it in one long press where ever you are in your rotation, in a heavy tank it could be 3 presses away (or if you are like me and have no idea where you are, 4).

Interesting, I hadn't noticed. That said its not something I use very often as I don't like the artillery much!

I think it is intentional that tanks will still be in front of the tagged enemy (not being able to see the enemy shooting you because someone tagged a building in the distance would be bad), not so sure on buildings, I guess you could argue either way, but I doubt it will change.

For the relay shield-gen missions you will spawn with a blue heavy tank (it should have a star over its health bar). This is the relay unit. It will attempt to get to a pad in the next area where it will stay while unlocking the next set of doors. You have to keep this tank alive at least until it has done so, though it is useful to keep it around after that too! Once you are in, you have to destroy the generator itself, take it slow as waves spawn in to defend it as it takes damage.

Good luck!

Some nice ideas :-) I particularly like the idea of using shield walls around turrets / bases.

With the shops, I would be reluctant to change it so that shop "level" is shown on the map, as it just removes the skill aspect of judging shops. It is entirely possible to work out which shops will hold top or mid tier weapons, and even to some extent, where they are likely to turn up on the map.

You just have to win a campaign on the stated difficulty (or above!). You can do it on any map size, and it doesnt matter if you use a seed or not. The new tank will be given to you just before the campaign results screen.

Do you get the same thing in other PSVR games? There is no setting for this in Battlezone and I cannot find anything for it in the PS4 settings either.

There may be a setting on your TV to force 16:9 or a Zoom mode, but the image output to the screen is not 1080p, it is upscaled from a single eye. You can see this is the case in Youtube videos, but they often fill the extra space with something else.
