There is only a checkpoint autosave system. Make sure to scour the map for health potions as back up.

Would-be adventurers who acquire STRANGE BRIGADE when it launches next week will discover a rather resplendent treat – a FREE FIFTH CHARACTER!

Unveiled at the conclusion of today’s terrifically thrilling launch trailer, the gentleman explorer Winston Bey is now part of the Brigade! AND he’s FREE to all players who pre-order or purchase STRANGE BRIGADE on any platform during the first 30 days after launch.

Watch the Launch trailer here

Strange Brigade launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, August 28th. Get new character Winston Bey FREE when you buy the game for a limited time only.

Prospector, journalist, spy, diplomat and traveller – Winston Bey has explored the world and seen it all. He tells himself the Brigade’s adventures are “just an amusing diversion” in his extensive voyages, but the Department of Antiquities already has longer-term employment in mind…

STRANGE BRIGADE is so close you can practically taste the Earl Grey! Today’s splendid launch trailer heralds its arrival on August 28th, when Rebellion’s astounding adventure for 1-4 players launches for PC.

With just three weeks until the launch of Strange Brigade, we’re excited to lift the sarcophagus lid on two very exciting surprises: Score Attack and Horde Mode!

These two modes – playable in single-player or two-four player – will be available FREE at launch, and we’re delighted to confirm that both will receive free content updates post-launch!

So what are these modes? Read on adventurer, and find out…

SCORE ATTACK – WHERE SPEED MEETS PANACHE…

Score Attack is a fast-paced mode, all about cutting through large numbers of enemies with as much speed and style as you can, in an attempt to keep that combo-multiplier as high as possible! As you might expect, this ticks up as you take down your enemies in quick succession, but will deplete should you take too long to score a kill!

As well as this, there are also big bonus points up for grabs – such as not taking any damage, racking up the headshots, and other devilish challenges to keep you coming back for more.

We cannot wait for you try Score Attack – it’s a fast-paced challenge with plenty of opportunities to show off your skills!

HORDE MODE, WITH A ‘STRANGE’ TWIST!

Horde Mode may seem familiar at first, but the crack team at Rebellion worked their magic to take some of the core gameplay mechanics and reinterpret them in to a fresh new mode!

Similar to spending gold in the campaign to unlock new weapons, special weapons and more, in Horde Mode you accumulate gold by killing enemies – but how do you spend it? Do you splash the cash on the Flamethrower, knowing once it runs out of gas it’s done, or do you save your gold to open up new parts of the level to potentially unlock more goodies like health potions or loot?

This neat change helps to create a thrilling mode, whether you’re playing solo or with 2-4 players, full of tactical decisions to be made in the face of an unending horde of nefarious ne’er do wells…

IN THE NEXT EXCITING EPISODE OF THE STRANGE BRIGADE…

There you go, keen adventurers. We’re thrilled to be able to show this off and we can’t wait for you to get playing! Check out the brand new screenshots below to get your first taste of Score Attack and Horde mode!

Which mode are you most excited for? Come and join the conversation on Twitter, Facebook and Discord!

 1.   Firstly power off your console, using either the power button or by removing the power source.
2.   To turn on the PS4 into Safe mode, Press and Hold down the power button on the front of the PS4, until the console beeps twice (once immediately, then another after a few seconds of holding)
3.    Connect your Dual Shock remote via USB cable.
4.    Press the PS button on the controller to pair devices.

The console will now be in Safe Mode

1.   Go to option "5. Rebuild Database" and press X
2.   "The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database" will be displayed, Select OK.
3.    The screen will go blank whilst the Database is being rebuilt and this could take a few hours depending on the amount of saved content.
4.    When the Rebuild has finished the console will return to the sign in screen.

The rebuild is now complete. None of your installed games or features will be affected, but inside your Database and memory will now be a lot cleaner.
