Enemy Power Level

Posted 1 year ago

I know the Enemy Power Level is what calls in a Nemesis. But,  does it effect other enemies? Like, do all the other enemies hit harder and/or take more damage?

Yep, the power level dictates what 'level' of enemies spawn. At higher levels, you'll start to see things like the red/gold/white-variant enemies (the check light tanks' underside in later levels) which are progressively tougher and more dangerous. The key to a successful run at the harder difficulty levels is to keep the power level low. Searching the maps for Power Relay buildings (hacking the Radar buildings or using the Radar Ping special ability makes this easier) and hacking them helps a lot.

Is there a limit of how powerful the enemy can get ?

The power level keeps increasing forever but ultimately, yes, there is a maximum effect that can have on the game. There's five levels of enemy (so at higher power levels you get more of the high-level enemies) and the distribution of enemies changes. At higher power levels you'll start to see more swarms, heavy tanks, etc.
