I'm sure we can get something put up. The "drive up and explode" ones we call 'Bomb Trucks'. You can find the names of the AI types by targeting them and pressing triangle. There's a display on the dashboard that should then show their name.

Thanks for the feedback, Enuebis, it's all useful to us. I won't try to justify any design decisions here because I'm not a member of the design team (I'm just a programmer). We're running a few 'play with the devs' sessions over the next few days/weeks so you'd be more than welcome to join in and chat directly to the folks that made the game.

Thank you for the report. We're aware of similar issues and are working to fix them in a future patch.

Thank you for all the feedback - it's all useful as it helps us to narrow down the cause of any issues there might be. As you can imagine, we're watching this particular issue very carefully and will be working with Sony to fix any problems in Battlezone, including the orientation reset.

Yeah, we can't really talk about the Pro at the moment, at least not in any detail. I'll get in trouble if I promise something that we can't get working in the end. I can say that, since the resolution of the headset doesn't change, any Pro upgrades we may make can only do so much to improve the visuals at the end of the day.

I had to look up the term 'mura' (you learn something new every day) but I can confirm there is a requirement for us to avoid black smear. I don't think that's what you're seeing, however - the 'film grain'-like effect is, I believe, an artifact of the screen door effect reduction process Sony are using. Again, I can't really go into detail on how I know that, but I'm confident that's the case.

The recaptcha thing is really annoying, isn't it? I might have a word with the web guys about it.

We did try to call out all the important functionality in the game's tutorials but it's abundantly clear that they're too easy to miss and once they're dismissed you can't see them again.

I should clarify that I can't speak for the game as a whole, or indeed Rebellion - I'm just a programmer on the project - but we really are reading all of the feedback and have plans to act upon it. We want everyone to be able to enjoy Battlezone, not just the hardcore fans.

Enuebis, believe me, we understand where you're coming from. I'm sorry that you're finding the game frustrating but we've had plenty of positive feedback too so we can't make sweeping changes that may spoil the game for those folks that are enjoying it.

All I can say right now is that we have changes in the works for a future patch that will make things easier on the lower difficulties and smooth out the spikes. We hope this will be available very soon.

Don't worry, zelorian74, we won't be making any major changes across the board but we would like to smooth out some of the wrinkles for players who'd like to play on Easy.

I can't really comment on what other titles do but we already use higher-than-native resolution on the standard PS4 version to provide supersampling-based anti-aliasing.

If you stand up/move away/closer to the camera, and then press-and-hold options, does the view position shift? It should 're-centre' back onto the chair in the default position?

We're on the case, believe me. Difficulty is one of those very tricky things. The last thing we want to do is to make it too easy and spoil the longevity of the game so we're loathe to rush in and make any sweeping changes, but we are monitoring things closely.

Yeah, having someone with the ammo replenish special ability is extremely useful. Using the Blaster (the backup gun you always have) to kill things should always give you some ammo so sometimes it's useful to switch to it to finish things off even if you don't need to, to replenish your stocks.

Team composition is definitely important in Battlezone. Having a dedicated healer is a nice thing to have but you can be at risk of putting all your eggs in one basket. Personally, I prefer playing as a light tank, zipping off to hack the weapons factories, etc. That's a risky proposition (I like to dump my rear shield modulator into the front too, for extra riskiness) but lowering the AI power level by hacking their support structures can make things a -lot- easier.
