Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, jim1174. It sounds as if your anti-virus has quarantined the executable for some reason. Check the contents of <Oculus Install Directory>\Software\Software\rebellion-battlezone\bin. If it's empty, you may need to disable your anti-virus and re-download the game.

In theory, yes. All of the Windows Mixed Reality headsets should work with the SteamVR version of Battlezone. The Lenovo isn't a device we've tested ourselves but it certainly works with the Acer Windows Mixed Reality headset.

Hi, thanks for the question. I can't give you a definitive answer right now but I've compared notes with the rest of the team and this is what we believe is the case:

There's not enough time for the bomb trucks to change their trajectory much after being virus'd but their explosion won't hurt you and should hurt enemies.

For mine layers, their mines will hurt enemies and not you, but we suspect they often end up being destroyed by their own mines(!) before they can do much.

Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely planning to investigate HOTAS 4 at some point but unfortunately the PC implementation isn't that easy to port, since it relies on Direct Input and has to account for fully-customisable control schemes.

We'll have a look at what would be involved in getting HOTAS 4 support in but I'm afraid I can't make any promises.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll pass them on. The RELOAD message is rather shouty on purpose because early in testing people would sometimes get confused as to why they couldn't fire, but disabling that sort of thing should be possible.

One tactic with the shield generators is to use the Blaster (hold down the weapon change button) to take out the rings. This has infinite ammo and lets you save your main ammo for the bigger baddies.

Not manually, I'm afraid. The game uses whatever language the Playstation is currently set to so you can change your language in the System settings, but that will affect all games.

Hi JKVAIO, sorry to hear you're having problems.

The game uses the Windows language setting to select the in-game language - I'm not sure why it's giving you Korean. There's currently no in-game way of changing this behaviour but you can override it by creating a shortcut to the Battlezone.exe and adding ' -language="english"' to the end of the 'target' line. You'll have to use this shortcut to launch the game otherwise it'll return to the default behaviour - apologies for the inconvenience. The launcher executable can be found here: <Oculus Install Directory>\Software\Software\rebellion-battlezone\launcher

At the moment, yes. Battlezone requires the use of a controller of some kind. The keyboard navigation in menus was added as an emergency backup if your controller failed for whatever reason, but there's no keyboard & mouse support in-game.

The power level keeps increasing forever but ultimately, yes, there is a maximum effect that can have on the game. There's five levels of enemy (so at higher power levels you get more of the high-level enemies) and the distribution of enemies changes. At higher power levels you'll start to see more swarms, heavy tanks, etc.

Yep, the power level dictates what 'level' of enemies spawn. At higher levels, you'll start to see things like the red/gold/white-variant enemies (the check light tanks' underside in later levels) which are progressively tougher and more dangerous. The key to a successful run at the harder difficulty levels is to keep the power level low. Searching the maps for Power Relay buildings (hacking the Radar buildings or using the Radar Ping special ability makes this easier) and hacking them helps a lot.

Hi guys, apologies for not replying sooner. I can't promise anything regarding the HOTAS 4 but we'll certainly look into it.

We've tested successfully it at this end and it removes the mask successfully (which makes the screen sort of crescent-shaped when it's on - this only applies to Vive). If it's working, you should have the game running in a window with vertical black bars at the side - this is essentially the same as what you'll see in the SteamVR mirror window if it's set to single eye mode. The game won't ever run completely 'full screen' as we'd have to completely re-render the screen at a different resolution & without the HMD distortion to support that.
