I've checked with the team and we don't have access to any stats like that at this end. The game does collect a 'total time in missions' stat but that's held locally. I've asked if we can look into exposing it in-game somewhere so you can see how long you've been playing for - it's not exact as it won't include time spent in the menus & campaign map, but it'll be fairly close.

I am hoping that you can tell me how many hours I have played Battlezone for PSVR? Because, I believe that I hold the world record for hours played. Another player told me that he had played 2,500 hours. I'm gonna keep playing, no matter what you say. It's obviously the best PSVR game so far.

Thanks for the kind words! I don't think we collect any user-specific usage data, I'm afraid, but I will check to see if we can find out.

Found it! It's one of the old pickup objects that's been placed in the level. We're not entirely sure whether it was put there deliberately or was just accidentally left in, but mystery solved!

Hah, nothing so insidious, I'm afraid! There are so many things in the game it's hard for us poor devs to keep track. Sometimes things depend on the difficulty level too, which makes it even harder to remember! Anyway, I've dug about in the data and I can confirm that it does give 1000 data when you hack it.

I can't see the picture (broken link!) but now I really, really want to. From your description, it certainly sounds plausible. Now I'm going to be poking around in the lava all day.

Hey Zplintz, sorry for the lack of response. Glad to hear you got the DK2 working. Head tracking isn't something we're looking at right now but we may investigate it further in the future. There's so many things we could potentially add support for (a lot of people have asked for flight stick and HOTAS support, for example) and there's only so much we can realistically do, but we'll certainly bear it in mind.

Hi Zplintz, apologies for not replying sooner. If you're still having issues, you can contact our support folks at battlezone.support@rebellion.co.uk and they will hopefully be able to help you out. I don't think we're doing anything unusual with the audio devices in Battlezone but SteamVR itself can be configured to switch between audio outputs when it boots up/closes down. It may be worth double-checking those settings. You can access them from the SteamVR overlay by clicking the little down arrow in the top left, next to 'SteamVR', and selecting Settings->Audio.

I'll see if our community guys can't rustle something up. In the mean time, there's a tips thread here:

 http://forum.rebellion.co.uk/battlezone/thread/1057

There's also a guide for the PSVR version (which is essentially the same) here:

Thanks for the info, Dingofuz. We're looking into it and will aim to fix it in a future patch.

Very strange. It does indeed sound like a problem with the audio when another player joins but it's not a global issue as I've just been playing with a few folks and I could hear them fine. Next time it happens, it may be worth checking what your default audio device is set to - sometimes the headset can do some odd things with re-routing the audio playback, etc. To do so, right click on the volume control in the task bar and select 'Playback Devices'. The default playback device should have a green tick next to it.

The DX11 and DX12 versions use a slightly different version of XAudio (as DX12 support guarantees Windows 10 so we can use a later version of the library) so it may be worth switching and seeing whether it still happens in the other version.

Thanks for the feedback, Rob. I'll pass it on the design team. We've also got some improvements to the airbourne pathfinding in the works that should stop them bumping into things as often! :D
